Small Group Yoga & Breathwork

For Women in Newmarket | Online Available Globally

You’ve been carrying tension, stress, and disconnection in your body for too long. Through gentle yoga and breathwork, you can reconnect with yourself, regulate your nervous system, and discover what it feels like to truly be present in your own body. Beginners welcome.

You feel tense, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your body.

You’re busy, depleted, and overstimulated. You know you need to slow down, but you’re not sure how to actually be with yourself without pushing, fixing, or powering through.
There's a Gentler Way
Maybe you’ve tried yoga before but felt like you didn’t belong. Maybe you’re navigating stress, burnout, or a major transition and your body feels stuck. Maybe you’re simply ready to learn how to breathe deeply again and feel at home in yourself.
You don't have to keep pushing through.

What is Yoga & Breathwork?

NERVOUS SYSTEM SUPPORT THROUGH MOVEMENT & BREATH

Yoga and breathwork are gentle, body-based practices that support both your physical body and your nervous system. Through mindful movement and intentional breathing, you’ll learn how to regulate your stress response, release tension you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with your body in a beautiful, supportive way. This isn’t about performance, perfect poses, or flexibility. It’s about learning how to be with yourself more honestly, to listen to your body, and to create space for healing without forcing or pushing through.
My approach combines:
Beginners Welcome and Encouraged
You don’t need prior yoga experience. You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to “be good at it.” These classes are adaptable, inclusive, and meet you exactly where you are. This work helps women connect with their bodies in the most beautiful way, regardless of where you’re starting from.

What Yoga & Breathwork Can Support

Chronic Tension & Tightness

Release the physical tension you've been carrying in your shoulders, neck, back, and jaw. Learn to soften rather than brace.

Shallow Breathing & Fatigue

Restore deep, nourishing breath. Experience increased energy and vitality as you learn to breathe fully again.

Sleep Challenges

Calm your nervous system before bed. Many women find that regular practice leads to deeper, more restful sleep.

Disconnection from Your Body

Reconnect to physical sensations, body awareness, and the wisdom your body holds. Feel at home in yourself again.

Stress Regulation & Emotional Release

Learn practical tools to regulate stress and process emotions held in your body. Create space between stimulus and response.

Feeling Calmer, Steadier, More Present

Experience what it feels like to be truly present in your body and your life, rather than constantly racing ahead or replaying the past.

Building Strength & Flexibility Over Time

Gently build physical strength and flexibility through consistent, compassionate practice that honours where you are today.

Nervous System Support

Shift from fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest. Support your parasympathetic nervous system and create a foundation for healing.

Time & Space Just For You

Give yourself permission to pause. This practice offers sacred time away from demands, responsibilities, and constant doing—a chance to simply be with yourself and reset without guilt.

Is Yoga & Breathwork Right for You?

Yoga and breathwork are especially supportive for women who:

You don’t need to touch your toes, hold a plank, or have any yoga experience whatsoever. These classes are designed for real bodies, real lives, and real women who are simply ready to feel better in their own skin.

Hi, I am Dawne Sullivan

Reiki Master, Coach & Mentor, Cold Immersion Guide, Breathwork Facilitator, Holistic Nutritionist

I’ve been where you are. I spent much of my life feeling disconnected from my body, carrying tension I didn’t know how to release, and never truly being present with myself. In my 30s, this shifted when I discovered the power of breathwork and gentle movement – not as performance, but as a way to finally come home to my body.

Over time, I became passionate about natural health and went back to school to become a Holistic Nutritionist. Through yoga and breathwork, I’ve learned that the most profound healing happens when we slow down enough to listen to what our bodies are trying to tell us.

I believe in getting the basics right so you can move forward in your best health. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, but there are foundational principles that work for every body.

You were born to shine.

Frequently Asked Questions

DO I NEED PRIOR YOGA EXPERIENCE?
No. Beginners are welcome and encouraged. These classes are specifically designed for women who are new to yoga or returning after time away. You don’t need any flexibility, strength, or prior experience. You just need to show up as you are.
Wear comfortable, moveable clothing that allows you to breathe and move freely. Leggings or soft pants and a comfortable top work well. You’ll be moving, breathing, and potentially sitting or lying on the floor, so choose something you feel comfortable in.

No. I have all the equipment you’ll need including mats, blocks, bolsters, and blankets. You’re welcome to bring your own mat if you have a favourite, but it’s not required.

That’s completely okay. Flexibility is not a requirement for yoga. In fact, many of the women who benefit most from this practice are those who feel tight, tense, or stiff in their bodies. All movements can be modified to meet you exactly where you are.
Classes are paced to support nervous system regulation, not performance. They’re intentionally designed to be accessible and adaptable. You’re always invited to modify, rest, or choose a different variation. The practice meets you where you are, not the other way around.

Yoga typically involves mindful movement, stretching, and strength-building postures combined with breath awareness. Breathwork focuses specifically on breathing techniques and patterns to regulate the nervous system, release emotions, and shift your state. In my classes and sessions, I often blend both for comprehensive nervous system support.

This depends on your needs and schedule. Some women benefit from weekly classes for consistent support. Others drop in occasionally during stressful periods. There’s no “right” frequency. Listen to what your body and life need, and adjust as you go.
Absolutely. Yoga and breathwork can be especially supportive during perimenopause and menopause. The practices help regulate stress, support hormonal transitions, improve sleep, and reconnect you to your body during a time of significant change.
