Guided Cold Immersion & Sauna for Women

For Women in Newmarket

You’re ready to discover your capacity to meet intensity with calm. Through guided cold immersion and sauna experiences (including optional contrast therapy), you’ll learn the difference between discomfort and danger, build resilience, and develop deep trust in yourself.

You feel stuck, stagnant, or heavy in your body.
You want to build resilience and confidence, but not through pushing yourself to extremes. You’re navigating stress or transition and need a practice that teaches you how to stay present and choose rather than just endure.
This Work Gently Challenges What You Believe About Safety
Maybe you’ve been avoiding discomfort for so long that you’ve lost touch with your own strength. Maybe you’re curious about cold immersion or sauna but don’t know where to start safely. Maybe you’re ready to discover what becomes possible when you learn to meet intensity with breath and presence.
You don't have to figure this out alone.

What is Cold Immersion & Sauna?

PRACTICES THAT BUILD RESILIENCE & TEACH DISCERNMENT

Cold immersion and sauna are intentional practices that support your nervous system, circulation, and resilience-both physically and mentally. Through guided experiences with cold water and heat, you’ll learn how to stay present, breathe through intensity, and choose your response rather than react.

This isn’t about pushing through or proving anything. It’s about learning how to stay present, breathe, and choose. This work gently challenges the belief that comfort is always required for safety-and instead teaches discernment: learning the difference between discomfort and danger, and discovering your capacity to meet intensity with calm.

My approach combines:
These Are Not Drop-In Wellness Trends
Unlike casual cold plunges or sauna visits, these are facilitated experiences rooted in safety, education, and self-awareness. You’ll receive guidance every step of the way. All experiences are optional, guided, and paced-no one is ever forced or pressured.

Is Cold Immersion & Sauna Right for You?

Cold immersion and sauna are supportive for:

Reiki works beautifully alongside other healing modalities. You don’t need to choose between Reiki and therapy, medical treatment, or other wellness practices. They can all support your healing journey together.
Important Health Considerations:
Cold immersion is not recommended for individuals with certain cardiovascular conditions, unmanaged blood pressure issues, during pregnancy without medical clearance. Sauna may not be appropriate for everyone. If you have health concerns, please consult your primary care health provider before participating. All sessions include education, clear guidance, and an emphasis on listening to your body. You are always encouraged to opt out or modify based on what feels right for you.

Session Options & Contrast Therapy

Cold immersion and sauna can be enjoyed in a single session (contrast therapy) or you can only focus on one or the other depending on what feels right for your body and your goals.

Cold Only (Cold Immersion)
Some people prefer only cold immersion for its energizing, clarifying, and resilience-building benefits.
Others prefer only sauna for deep relaxation, stress release, and gentle detoxification.
Some people love the combination of sauna followed by cold immersion. This “contrast therapy” amplifies the benefits of both practices and creates a powerful nervous system reset.

Hi, I am Dawne Sullivan

Reiki Master, Coach & Mentor, Cold Immersion Guide, Breathwork Facilitator, Holistic Nutritionist

I’ve been where you are. I spent years avoiding discomfort, staying in my comfort zone, and wondering what I was truly capable of. In my 30s, everything shifted when I started challenging myself in new ways and discovered that I was far more resilient than I believed.

Over time, I became passionate about natural health and went back to school to become a Holistic Nutritionist. Through cold immersion and sauna work, I’ve learned that true confidence comes not from avoiding intensity, but from learning to meet it with breath, presence, and choice.

I believe in getting the basics right so you can move forward in your best health. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, but there are foundational principles that work for every body.

You were born to shine.

No. You may choose to do one OR both. Some people love contrast therapy (sauna followed by cold). Others prefer only warmth or only cold. There is no “right” way-the practice is about choice, not endurance.
This varies based on your experience level, comfort, and individual response. Beginners typically start with very short immersions (30 seconds to 2 minutes). You are always in control of how long you stay, and you can exit at any time.
